The following are some instructions which will assist you in getting started and assure prompt recording of grades. These instructions are for Proctors that have incarcerated students.


Please include the student's name and student username on all communications.

Always write the exam identification number as shown in this example (MRS 540-1B).

Exams may be stored in a secure place and used for multiple students.

Complete information regarding our curriculum and special provision for prison students may be found on our website.  Choose Academics and read the Academic Catalog and Student Handbook designed for prison students.  If you are interested in following the progress of your student, you may view his grades at any time online.


Login instructions to view grades: for all proctors.


    Go to and choose NU Courses in upper left.

  1. Login with your username and password.
  2. Click Reports in upper left column, then User Reports, then NationsU user summary report.
  3. In the Full Name box, begin typing the students name. You may select the one you want when it appears in the drop-down list.
  4. Check the top two boxes, Show all Learning Objectives and Show current total score.
  5. Lastly, click the Show Report button. All the grades earned by the student will be shown. Scroll up or down the page to find the grade. Some students may have more than one page so be sure to check all the pages. These page buttons can be found at the bottom of the report.
