Academics Overview | NationsUniversity offers academic awards at both the undergraduate (baccalaureate) and graduate (master’s) levels. Choose a program that fits your own interests, goals, and academic preparation. Your interest may arise from a desire for self-enrichment, a desire to satisfy curiosity, or a desire to prepare for ministerial service. NationsUniversity has no campus so your study environment is wherever you live.
Academic CatalogThe Bachelor of Religious Studies requires 120 semester-hour credits. A minimum of 30 of these must be taken with NationsUniversity. A minimum of 60 credits shall be drawn from the category of religion, philosophy, and courses that address worldview, ministry, worship, and biblical exegesis.
LEARN MOREThe Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) is a 36 semester-hour academic graduate degree encompassing study in Scripture, biblical backgrounds, theology, comparative religion, and spiritual formation.
LEARN MOREThe Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree is an 84 semester-hour academic graduate degree standard program offered by theological schools and seminaries. It is considered a professional degree. The program normally represents three academic years of full-time graduate study. The program is designed for persons who intend to engage in ministry.
LEARN MOREThe Certificate Program is a 7-course, 21-credit directed study in biblical studies. The program includes a course in spirituality, followed by courses in Old and New Testament content, theology, and exegesis. (Transfer credit cannot be substituted)
LEARN MOREThe Certificate in Christian Ministry (C.C.M.) follows after the Certificate in Biblical Studies (C.B.S.) and may be taken concurrently with the Bachelor of Religious Studies program. The C.C.M. requires 12 semester hours of prescribed credits taken at NationsUniversity.
LEARN MOREThe Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies is a 15-credit graduate-level certificate designed to provide a more in-depth study of the Greek and Hebrew Scriptures for individuals who have developed a basic understanding through undergraduate studies.
