For church members beginning their college experience while training with your church or ministry, the C.B.S. gets them started strong. With class-specific mentoring objectives, church leaders can help their members be successful both in school and in ministry. Nu's Mentoring Guide will provide the students and leaders with suggested activities to reinforce each course in the C.B.S. program.
For local members who already possess an accredited degree in any field, the GCBS will provide an immersive experience in the Bible, theology, and the art of interpretation (hermeneutics). Students will learn to study and teach the Bible in a way that is true to the original intent of the author and that connects with the modern hearer. Students in this program receive the same support by NationsU as undergraduates while your church mentors them to meet the needs of your local congregation and community.
The main purpose of the B.R.S. program is to equip you with in-depth knowledge of the Bible, its historical context, and its modern application. Throughout this program you will develop your ability to think critically about ethical, philosophical, and theological issues. You will grow your skills in practical ministry and disciple-making. After completing this program, you will be able to confidently teach the message and meaning of the Bible.
A Bible-intensive graduate degree that enhances your understanding of Scripture and its interpretation through a systematic analysis of its cultural and historical contexts, literary features, and the history of interpretation. Your personal spiritual faith will be strengthened as you mature in your relationship with God and in your service in his kingdom. The M.T.S. courses are designed for Christian leaders seeking a solid foundation in biblical and theological priciples.
