NU Celebrating 25 Years of Education Excellence

NU Celebrating 25 Years: what do you get when you add iconic Nashville music to a famously gifted TV personality at an amazing Rocketown venue with the Waller ladies’ decorating talents? A Fabulous Night to Remember!
What a wonderful celebration for NationsUniversity’s 25th Anniversary! Gary Chapman started the night off with his moving songs that left the audience wanting more. Al Robertson eloquently elaborated on the connection between Duck Commander and NationsUniversity and how God knew what He was doing in so many lives.

Celebrate the honoring of Mac and Marty Lynn with a student-made plaque for 25 years of NationsUniversity and see how Mac and Marty invited us all into their home through their video interview to reminisce. This exchange displayed how in sync the Lynns still are both as a couple (married for 65 years as of September 1st!) and as Christ’s followers in his mission for His world. Joe Sloan was also honored as “Volunteer of the Year” for his 13 plus years of selfless service as Chief Financial Officer at NationsU.

John Baxter, the CEO and now NU President, led everyone through the program as our master of ceremonies. JonRoy Sloan put together some great history and student testimonial videos. NU had friends watching from various U.S. states and countries, including Canada, Nigeria, Philippines, Egypt, Austria, and beyond.
The NationsU auction ended on the meaningful day of the 25th, and we want to thank all who participated in it. Generous donations, everything from autographed sports & music (Carrie Underwood Guitar!) and resorts & vacations to student-made gifts, allowed the auction to raise funds toward student scholarships and excitement for the celebration. The planning committee of Shirley Bornstein, John & Randi Baxter, Janet Cates, Lisa Durr, Analise Glover, Mary Virginia Mabery, Paula Rummage, JonRoy Sloan, Lindsey Sullivan and Molly Swindell outdid themselves. NU Celebrating 25 Years of Education Excellence was a great event and big success. We extend a sincere thank you to all who have donated toward this great school and mission work to build faith and train Christian leaders worldwide!
