Why Would Anyone Want to Study Theology at NationsU?

Why Would Anyone Want to Study Theology at NationsU?

Why would anyone want to study Theology at NationsU, you may ask? In this short story, I would like to recall how NationsU has helped me fulfill my dream of studying the Bible and Theology.

My Background

I dropped out of pursuing an education at 18 years old after graduation from a high school in France. Forty years later, I decided to go back to school. I realized I didn’t know the Bible as well as I thought, and studying the Bible and Theology at a seminary level equipped me with tools and courses to teach me how to answer basic questions of faith and doctrine and how to study the Bible.

What I Have Gained

With a Master’s Degree in Theology, I am graduating this month of May 2021. In the current environment in Asia, having a diploma from an accredited University in the US provides educational credentials as I am presently an English teacher. Living in Thailand, I haven’t had to pay for any tuition, to attend NationsU. I wouldn’t have been able to afford it.

I am so grateful for the generosity of my brothers and sisters and donors and sponsors at NationsU. You enabled me to pursue a Biblical education as well as obtaining a degree. Through studying at NationsU, I gained skills of studying, researching, and writing essays. I can now use what I have learned for the rest of my life and teach it to others.

Freely Given

NationsU’s principle of “give and it shall be given to you, freely you have received, freely give” in the world of Bible education and seminary training is something I will not forget and will endeavor to live so others can also benefit from well-grounded Biblical teaching. NationsU is Bible-based and non-denominational in its approach to education. This is an advantage when studying Theology at NationsU, to have a wide approach and embrace all students’ backgrounds, so it’s not biased in its teaching.

I was concerned at first that by studying Theology at NationsU, I wouldn’t perhaps read or study much Bible, but to the contrary, I have been reading and studying more from the Bible than at any other time in my life.

NationsU Delivers More

NationsU has delivered more than it promised and more than I thought I would receive. Thank you to all my brothers and sisters for making it possible for me to graduate this month with a Master in Theology. Grace and Peace to you, Marc Bernard (Student from Thailand, age 62)
